Overview
This new workshop takes you through all phases of designing a embedded system using Mix signal Processor (MSP430FXXX) 16 bit Risc core from Texas Instruments. Using the IAR platform you will gain hands-on experience using IAR Workbench to build and debug projects in C and assembly language.
What you will learn?
 IAR Embedded workbench
Design a user interface for embedded systems.
RS-232, SPI, I2C, RS 485, MODbus and host interface.
MSP430FXXX Real time Emulator.
Implementation and applications of WAVE DIGITAL FILTER.
Embedded radio (ISM Band)
Debugging with Real-Time examples.
Program the on chip Flash memory
Who should attend?
This workshop is for software and system design engineers using the MSP430FXXX architecture to build a Embedded system.
It is especially useful for designers who are doing system integration planning to use Texas Instrument´s advanced chip set such as MSP430 for Wave Digital Filter, Wireless interface, JTAG tools; software components, and Reference Framework application templates available from Gill Instruments and Texas Instruments web site.
This workshop is the best course for an engineer/programmer who is new to the Mixed Signal processing and needs to get a whole system running. It will give you a complete view of the MSP system integration process for embedded systems.
Course Prerequisites
This course has no specific prerequisites. However some familiarity with the following is especially helpful:
8085 ; 8051 Architecture
Digital signal processing.
C and Assembly language programming
During the first two days you will use IAR Embedded workbench and learn how to make use of MSP430FXXX in your applications.
Hand-on labs allow you to learn other practical topics such as down loading /running/ debugging an application and programming the on-chip flash.
